I really dont understand what im look at... I get the point she blurs the shape, But that does not explain her drawing process.. Does she draw all the shapes then blurs them all or does she use the pencil tool then draw the shapes over them...

Back in the olden days us Geezer Designers used the stylize/feather effect, glow effect, dropshadow effect, opacity masks and even that ever frustrating mesh tool to pull of airbrush effects in illustrator. Just utilizing what was there and do it in layers and you can pull off some amazing effects. I'm still in CS3. Didn't know CS4 has gaussian blur. Now CS5 is coming, wonder what its gonna have. Some day you'll probably be able to just tell the computer what you want and BAM PRESTO its done.
Pretty interesting method. I use similar tactics when using Illustrator CS4. The only difference I see is that you seem to 'cut out' the image using white rather than staying confined within an object. A question with that method - as in your comic, how do you separate your characters from the background... are they painted all together or do you use a clipping mask afterward? Thanks for sharing this - great work.
